BEN – (Karaoke Version) – in the style of Michael Jackson

“Ben” was recorded by a 13-year-old Michael Jackson and released in 1972 as the theme song for the horror film of the same name, which was a sequel to the movie Willard. Written by Don Black and composed by Walter Scharf, the tender ballad describes a deep friendship and, despite the film actually being about a young boy and his army of killer rats, the track completely transcends its bizarre cinematic origins. It became a massive commercial success, earning Jackson his very first solo number-one hit on the Billboard Hot 100 and winning a Golden Globe for Best Original Song.
